Printing the Report of a Chromatogram

 

A generic chromatogram report includes the information of the institute, title, file name, instrument conditions, integration parameters, integration results, result of group integration and the chromatogram. The user allows using all the painting tools provided by the computer to modify the display of the result.The system allows the user to paste the specific company logo on the top of the report. The user allows modifying the size of the picture according to his/her need for the report.

¡° Instrument Parameters
 
The data station provides 22 lines of 78 characters per line for the user to type in the information related to the analytical instrument. The information can be stored for the further uses.
 
 

 
 
    ¡° Reporting Format
 

The data station provides 20 basic peak information including peak height, peak area, theoretical plate number, retention time, base line etc. for the user to choose for his/her reporting format.

 
  ¡° Setting the Printing format for a Chromatogram
 
The user may choose to print the chromatogram with a portrait or landscape style. The size of the printing chromatogram is adjustable to fit the user¡¦s need. The data system supports all printing functions that Microsoft Windows provides.
 

 

The user is able to transfer any BMP and JPG files to combine with the chromatogram on a printing format. The user allows building his/her own library regarding the chemical formula, spectrum or calibration curve of a compound in the system. The picture of a specific compound in the library may be pasted on the top part of the peak on a chromatogram. The user cut any picture information regarding to UV, IR, NMR, MASS, X-ray etc. and paste on the chromatogram for his/her report.
 

 

¡° Secondary Marker
 

The user has the option to paste a background logo, signature or text on the final chromatogram printout.
 

The user specific report format
The user may design his/her own special poster format to present his/her analytical results.
 
   

The content of the results may include:

1. Title object: may include file name, description of the file, injection time and the report printing time.

2. Integration result object:The user is free to set up the character size, position of decimal point, etc..

3. Chromatogram object:The user may put the chromatogram on a specific location for the report.

4. Picture object:The user may paste any pictures related to the study on the poster.

5. Text object:Any Text content is able to paste on the poster with various character size and type.

6. Instrument Condition:The user may write down the instrument condition on the poster.

7. Integration parameter:The detail of integration parameter used for the analysis may be posted.

8. Calibration curve:The calibration curve used for the analysis can be posted along with the chromatography.
