The data system uses the first to 5th polynomial
equation to fit the regression curve. It is more realistic on GPC
analysis.

¡° The data station uses the
following methods to perform GPC calibration:

1. Directly input the coefficients to set up the
calibration curve.
2. Load the calibration chromatograms and then integrate
the area for building calibration curve.

3. Load retention time and molecular weight to build the
calibration curve.

The user has the option to decide where is the initial
point for integration, if it is necessary to convert a negative peak,
the initial and end point of molecular weight calculation.

The data station displays differential curve,
calibration curve, and position of Mn, Mw, Mz and the position of an
integrated curve as well as the GPC chromatogram.

The data system display each slice of the GPC
integration area including retention time, slice area, % area,
cumulative % area, Mn, Mw and Mz. This information will be displayed
along with the arrow point of the mouse.

The system also provides several function to plot the
dW/d(LogM) vs Log M. The Y axis can be Int M.W. %. It also plots Area %
vs logM. The Y axis can also be Int M.W. % too.

The slicing information of GPC can be converted to DDE
format and be used under the Excel environment. It also can store the
information in a text file.
¡°The system is capable of storing the instrument
parameters and lists them on the final report.
¡°Batch GPC calculation and report printing is also
available in the system.
¡°The data system allows the user to display several GPC
on a graph for comparison reason.
